This assignment is an exercise in colorizing an image using the tools available in Photoshop. Students begin with either a black and white photograph, or a color photograph which has been stripped of its coloring. They then colorize certain elements of the photograph to bring it to life. Often the backgrounds are left to remain black and white in order to have the foreground elements come to life.
