Illustrator

Students utilize Adobe Illustrator, a vector graphics program, to draw and illustrate two assignments over the course of the semester. This software is rather complex for a newcomer, and often intimidates students at first. What I remind everyone is that they need to think about the SHAPES that make up everything we interact with every day. Cirlces, squares, and lines, in their original form, or altered in varying ways, shape all objects. That helps to decide where to start, and how to frame the subject matter.
